A male factor is involved in roughly half of all cases. Semen analysis is the simplest and fastest test in the work-up — which is why we order it among the first, not as a last resort.
Roughly half of all cases involve a male factor, alone or alongside a female one. The male work-up is never an afterthought.
A semen analysis reflects a moment in time, not a permanent characteristic. That is why an older result is sometimes repeated before any decision is made.
The work-up concerns both partners and decisions are made together. If your partner cannot come yet, come alone: we will start with what can be started.
